and if things just stayed the same
suspended in this inexplicable state
where you and I are lame and distracted
with no further will than to accept fate
provided no wars may separate us
we seek not to be fired by machines
we’re keen not to get hit by a bus
though it is a pristine way to die
then we can just lie here, cancel time
hug each other dressed up in a beach
for we strive for feelings of this kind
feelings that put doubt out of reach
to be honest, I think we solved life
